Charges & Weight

Shipping Charges & Weight Calculation

1
A customs clearance charge of NPR 1,250 per box applies to all shipments above 10 KG.
2
Weight is rounded up to the next whole kilogram — e.g., 8.2 kg is charged as 9 kg.
3
Chargeable weight is the greater of actual or volumetric weight (L×B×H ÷ 5000 in cm).
4
Any discrepancy in weight or size at final packaging may incur additional charges — you will be informed before dispatch.
5
Shipping charges do not include destination duties or taxes — these are the responsibility of the shipper or receiver.

⚑ If an address needs to be corrected after booking, an address correction fee of USD 25 may apply. Always double-check receiver details!

Sender Responsibility

Sender's Responsibilities

1
The sender must provide accurate shipment details, declared value, and complete receiver information.
2
PGCS is not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
3
Once dispatched internationally, shipping charges are non-refundable.
4
If a shipment is refused, returned, or needs to be reshipped, all related charges are the sender's responsibility.
5
Payment must be made before dispatch. There is no credit limit on this rate. For credit terms, contact [email protected].
Insurance & Coverage

Shipment Protection Plan

1
For personal shipments with a declared value under USD 100, APC documentation or insurance is not required.
2
For shipments above USD 100, APC documentation and insurance are mandatory — without them, claims are capped at USD 100.
3
The Shipment Protection Plan costs NPR 622 per box and covers up to NPR 50,000 per box + Freight Charge for verified loss or damage during transit.
4
Even with insurance, claim settlement cannot exceed the declared value of the shipment.
5
Without insurance, the lost/damage claim cap is USD 100 per shipment.
6
Where third-party protection is involved, PGCS will coordinate the claim and obtain required reports within 21 working days of claim notification.

πŸ“Έ When submitting a claim, you must include clear photo and/or video evidence showing the label and tracking number. Claims without adequate evidence will not be considered.

Claim Process

How to Submit a Claim

1
All claims must be submitted within 1–3 days of the date the incident is detected.
2
Claims must be submitted by the sender only via [email protected].
3
Required: clear photo/video with label and tracking visible + shipment documentation + tracking details.
4
PGCS reserves the right to apply partial settlements based on assessment findings, documentation accuracy, and damage classification.
5
Claims involving branded goods require a valid commercial proof of purchase (invoice or receipt). PGCS may verify authenticity with the retailer.
6
Any fraudulent, misleading, or misrepresented claim will be immediately rejected and may be escalated to relevant authorities.
